Prepare the workspace
Move drinks and loose objects away, disconnect power and check the keyboard maker’s cleaning guidance. Tilt only if the design allows it safely.
Use short angled passes
Hold the nozzle above the key gaps, start low and sweep in one direction. Avoid prolonged airflow on one point.
- Do not remove keycaps unless the maker permits it
- Do not blow liquids or cleaner into switches
- Keep intake and outlet openings clear
Finish without pushing debris back
Use a suitable soft brush for the top surface and wipe the exterior with the approved method. Reconnect only when everything is dry and secure.
